i think there should be a little less orange every where. coz it may be confusing to the visitor if you just came from another website which is entirely black/white/red/etc. (too much contrast.)
i think if you want "minimalism" you should use a bit more white with the orange. maybe the text background could be white? coz most webpages (eg. google search result page) have white background - so its easier to adjust their eyes.
